Work at Home Mom Success Story - Nell Taliercio

What is your home business?

Well I actually have two businesses. The first one I started was a
virtual
assistance business. I actually fell into it and didn't even put a
website
together until several months ago. I've since revamped the whole
website and
direction of the business and have included my husband.

The second is affiliate marketing. This is my true passion. Since
starting
my very first information website years ago (which I no longer have)
I've
been hooked. I enjoy searching out and/or writing content people will
enjoy
and benefit from and offering affiliate links on the pages so that I
can
also make some money.

It feels good to know there is no limit to the success I have achieve
with
my affiliate marketing business and no limit in websites either.
Currently I
have over 10 and am working my way to at least 31.

Affiliate marketing is perfect for moms because once you build up your
income it's pretty passive. If you do it right you could take days,
weeks or
even months away from your business and still make the money. And tell
me that isn't just amazing!

When did you start?

I started working as a VA (virtual assistant) about three years ago.

I started affiliate marketing around that time as well, but didn't
really
get the hang of it or become successful until a year and a few months
ago.

Are you making money?

Yes I am :) I am actually now making more at home then I did outside
the
home and I only see that growing and growing in time.

What is your advice to other moms wanting to work from
home?

Find something you're passionate about and run with it! Treat your
business
seriously and don't be afraid to spend money on your business.

I've invested in learning materials, coaching and hiring VA's for my
own
business and it has paid off 100%.

And also please don't give up. It may take months before you start
seeing
true success - heck it could be even longer then that. But you need to
realize that if you're putting your all into the business and treating
it
like a business and not a hobby then it will pay off. It might just
take a
little longer then you had hoped.

What is the best thing about being a WAHM?

Well this one is easy, Amanda. ;) And I'm sure you know what it is. Of
course the BEST is that I'm home with my son. I get to be his mommy
every
single day all day long. I don't miss out on any of the wonderful
milestones
in his life and I get to have fun everyday!

Second to that is that I truly love what I do. I've been blessed by the
Lord
with a business that I'm passionate about and that makes me money. I'm
truly
an entrepreneur and could never see myself working for someone outside
the
hone again.

I actually look forward to the morning now so I can sit down and start
"working" but before I would DREAD the morning even as soon as the
night
before. There is nothing quite like loving what you do for a living.

Thank you Amanda for this opportunity to share my story. I wish all the
moms
out there the best with their businesses.same goes for you.
