Medical Transcriptionist Home-Based Job
One of the most sought after and talked about home-based jobs is in the field of medical transcription. This job prospect usually comes up first when I talk to family and friends about working from home. Here you will learn what medical transcription really is, how you can get started, and which companies are hiring most often.
What is medical transcription at home?
A medical transcriptionist is a medical related job in which patient medical information is transcribed from physician voice recordings. This information is transcribed and written up into a report. Medical transcriptionists also have other job responsibilities. This job can be done from a home-based office environment. MT’s often have flexible hours when they work from home which means this is a great job choice for moms and dads who want to stay at home with their kids. The average salary of a medical transcriptionist according to the Bureau of Labor & Statistic’s Occupational Outlook website is $32,000+ in US dollars plus health benefits.
Home Jobs 6/4/12
Welcome to this week’s list of newest home jobs from around the web. During the warmer months you may notice less jobs being posted. I’ve noticed this trend myself during the past few years. The job market may seem especially worse right now along with the current state of jobs in general but try to not get discouraged. I know it’s easier said than done because I am going through the same feeling right now.
Just trust that I am doing all I can to help, and posting all the real home jobs I research and find every week!
Again, although I do research each job before posting it to this list please be aware that there are still scams out there! Never ever pay to apply for a job! Also, if something sounds like a scam or to good to be true it probably is! Best of luck in your job search this week! If you have any questions you can find me on facebook. I’ve also created a new twitter account that will be used specifically for sharing home jobs. My new twitter account is @homejobsformoms
How To Work From Home
I’m surprised daily by how many people still ask me how to work from home when they find out that I run a business from home. I suppose they are a bit bewildered because the majority still (and always will) work a 9-5 job away from home.
For me, working from home was sort of an accident. It all happened in 2003 when I was finishing up my Master’s Degree in business and staying at home with my son. In one course we had an assignment to create a website. I created a website for Moms called Contest for Moms. I really didn’t think anything about it other than it was fun, and that I really wanted an A in the class! Who wouldn’t? Within 2 months I was making money from that website and I haven’t looked back since. Sure, I’ve made mistakes along the way but being an all in one website administrator/editor/content creator is now my full time real job/business from home.
So, you want to know how to work from home? Here are 3 easy steps to get you started:
