Do I Need A Degree To Work From Home?

Oftentimes, being in the “work at home field” I am asked by friends and work- at-home-hopefuls if a college degree is required to be able to work from home. In short, no a degree is not REQUIRED.

So a degree certainly isn’t required for some of the jobs but having a degree plus experience can  help you land a job over someone who does not have a degree especially in the telecommuting job market. I won’t lie – this work from home job market is quite competitive so you need some edge just to land one of the lower paying telecommuting jobs. However, it doesn’t mean that edge has to be a college education. Before I get to this week’s job listings, I’d like to address a few things. I’ve had a lot of people ask me to help them find a home job in the past few months which brings up the question, what do I do here? While I can’t get someone a job directly I can offer my assistance by providing them with new legitimate telecommuting and freelance job leads completely free every week. I also provide direction, tips, and motivation. That is what I do here. How do I come across these jobs? I scour the entire web, job databases, and other blogs then compile a list of scam-free job openings here. Companies also contact me with at home job openings.
