Reach For The Sky!
With all the hustle and bustle of life and the stress of searching for a new job, I thought it would be fun to share some portrait of our life as a work at home family. I tried starting up a photo blogging series a couple months ago but my busy season started up so I put the idea away for a while. Things have slowed down some so I figured I would try again. I may post a photo once a week or it may be once a month. My life is insanely busy but I will try the best that I can to give you a glimpse into our work at home lifestyle. If you are a bit curious, you can also find my personal instagram here. Warning! I post photos almost every day and sometimes multiple times per day. I’d love to see your photos too so post a link to them in the comments section if you feel like sharing.
The following is a photo of my son “reaching for the sky” surrounded by books and piles of laundry. Enjoy!

Work From Home + Homeschooling Schedule
We send one son to public school, and homeschool the other. Our homeschooler is in 2nd grade this year. I thought it would be useful to others if I shared our schedule. This schedule will give you an idea of how our daily life goes. I know I would have liked to have seen a realistic work from home schedule when I first started out.
And, just in case you are one of ”those” people who are into making excuses as to why you have no time to work well your excuse is no longer valid here. Everyone has time to work and get things done. You just need to focus and prioritize unless you have a newborn.
What A Work From Home Job Is NOT!
I am continually surprised by people that think working from home is all fun and games. Really? Do you honestly believe any job is like a day at the beach? Quite frankly, I’m also sick to death of hearing (mostly from family) that people who work from home don’t have “real jobs”. See our Myths About Working From Home Via The Internet post. If my work from home income pays the bills it counts as a job. Period. Your work location doesn’t define whether your job is real or not.
Live The Life You Have Imagined
If you could do anything you wanted right now what would you do?
My passions are writing, teaching, helping others, and photography. Every day I take steps to ensure that I can continue doing what I love.
What is your passion? How can you turn your passion into a living? Think about these things. Remember, there’s no better time than NOW to take action.
